Self-Titled 03:00
It seems like yesterday That I wasn't failing to feel I belong in this place The ceilings, the doorways, the people, they all look the same But the devilish details are determined to tell me I've changed Show off the bed you've made Turn on the smiles that stray Play along as I creep through another week And don't say That I'll stay This room in this house in this life is where I'm meant to be But who are those words for, are they meant for you or for me Show off the bed you've made Turn on the smiles that stray Play along as I creep through another week And don't say That I'll stay Your home's where my heart is But not for much longer The paper is peeling And showing what's under A marking for each time That I hadn't bothered To tell you I'll miss this Had I known that I was moving on And not just away I can't stay But I can't stay No, I can't stay No, I can't stay

Past Tense 03:18
Past Tense, you're confusing me. I'm stumbling on my words. You are, I mean you were, a present to this world. Is worse. It's funny how my mind thinks of you first. It hurts. When past tense strikes again you are you were. It is not what it seems. Or what it's meant to be. A misuse of terminology Cuts me at the knees. Just please, correct me when my mind thinks of you first. It hurts. When past tense strikes again you are you were. You were, you are an angel now.

Departures 03:36
You told me there was two months left to go. I told you that I think you're lying. But here I am a year's moved on, and hell it's been a year of trying. The speed of departures, the times of arrival. Your speed of departure, was faster than I hoped. I laid my eyes on where you rested, the flowers made it easier to find. We spent the afternoon together, just not the time I had in mind. Overgrown, left alone. I can't shake this sinking feeling. You should know, you're not alone because till your gone, I'll still be singing. The speed of departures, the times of arrival. Your speed of departure, was faster than I had hoped.

Gallery 03:19
A gallery of art that you can't bear to see. A cavalry, your defence is mounted pointed right at me. Was I not enough? I claimed your heart but did I breach your trust? Just take my hand and we can re-adjust. Beside the frames I take your hand. Just open up your eyes. Because the lights accent the colours and the patrons they're all lovers. And now I can articulate the details and I know that's not how you felt, just give it time. Displays lined with memories of your face, portraits of a life I can't replace. I'll just get some sleep. Shadows cover up the shades and shapes, can we not learn how to live with our mistakes? I'll just get some sleep. I guess this is it? The frames have fallen, all the hooks have split. I open up my eyes. And behind the glass there's meaning, but it's clear I'm not perceiving All the lies. That I told myself in review we were just enough and fell through. Now all that's left in view. A gallery of you. All that's left to see. A haunted gallery.

By Now 03:09
Patterns surrounding. Calling me back to the "what if's and what now's" Destined to wonder how things would be if I had only tried... By now... Should have followed where you led, but I mapped it out instead. And somehow... Ended up where I began with a pattern not a plan. Tried to look outside, drawn toward the window light. But all I see is reflected back at me. Oh how things would be if I had never lied... And told myself I'd be fine. By now... Should have followed where you led, but I mapped it out instead. And somehow... Ended up where I began with a pattern not a plan. Patterns surrounding. Calling me back to the "what if's and what now's" Destined to wonder how Patterns surrounding. Calling me back to the "what if's and what now's" Destined to wonder how.
